Professional Background
Hi everyone! My name is Stephanie Jones, and I am excited to be at Brier Creek serving EC pre-k children. I have been with DCS for over 10 years. I started my career with DCS at Stoner-Thomas, as a one-on-one assistant. After a few years at Stoner-Thomas, I went to work at Denton Elementary as a School Readiness Specialist. I was able to go into homes and serve families ages birth to five. With this experience I helped to build the bridge between families and the school setting along with working on developmental skills with the child. Later I went into the Kindergarten classroom as an assistant before finishing my teaching degree. I am now excited to be here at Brier Creek as the EC Pre-K Teacher.
