Grading Policies

How will my child be graded?

In first grade, students receive a 1, 2, or 3. When students complete assignment they will receive:

•      A 1, 2, or 3 if it is something that will be saved for data towards their overall report card scores.

The levels of scoring reflect the student’s overall understanding of the concept or amount of effort demonstrated with the assignment or assessment. Students will receive quarterly report cards to better explain their progress throughout the school year.
